In my first week since being selected as the Parliamentary Candidate for Chester South & Eddisbury I have been meeting people locally and making sure that I am hearing directly from people about their priorities. On day one, I was out knocking on doors speaking to local residents and listening to what are the important issues for them. I was joined by a fantastic team of local activists in Weaver and Cuddington Ward, supporting local councillors Phil Rimmer and Lynn Stocks. On Saturday I joined Cllr Razia Daniels at her monthly street surgery by the Old Dee Bridge in Handbridge and Westminster Park Shops.
During the week I attended a fundraising event for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd who do amazing work providing specialist palliative and end of life care as well as family support and bereavement services in Chester and across West Cheshire. You can find out more about their work at https://www.hospiceofthegoodshepherd.com
