At today's Conservative Women's Organisation (CWO) AGM and Conference, Aphra became the new National Deputy Chairman alongside Neeti Gupta and Rushi Millns. The new Chairman is Pamela Hall OBE.
The CWO is the oldest women's political organisation in the world and aims to help women to progress within the Conservative party, to ensure that women's voices are heard in policy development and to support more women to stand for elected office.
